A famed location starting all the way back in the 30’s Miami beach has been host to decades of Miami film and TV production. It has been featured in films like the notorious Scarface, the birdcage and bad boys 2. Not only does it have serene beaches it has its unique art deco aesthetic but it also boasts luxury hotels and posh world famous nightclubs.
Key Biscayne (Rickenbacker Causeway)
Under the Rickenbacker is a gritty location used in numerous films and television series. Night or day it features the bay and a beautiful view of Brickell I find its best shot especially at night when you can feature the city lights.
Wynwood
Once considered a ghetto the now gentrified and mostly remodeled Wynwood with its murals, galleries and bars. Has been a go to local for music videos, reality TV and independent film.
The Florida Everglades
Although not technically Miami/Dade County countless productions have come to town just for its natural beauty swampland look. All sorts of productions from natgeo nature documentaries to The Glades to Untamed fury have used its pristine bayou landscape as a setting for their productions. The everglades is also home to an air force base with 3 hangers which have been used as studios and as airports sets in the past.
Little Havana
